@BeastModefilms1 It'll make the audio sound a LOT better since HDSLRs are known for their bad audio quality. Get an external recorder such as the H4n or H1 and get a mic if you want and you should be all set. Oh, and the videos are in an MOV format and compressed using the H.264 codec ;p Hope I helped and subscribe! :D I'm trying to get somewhere in filming as a 13 year old and I'll need all the support I can get XD

Hey guys I have enough money to buy a dslr so does the filming come in .avi or will i have to convert it. Also if I have an external mic will that make the sound better or will it still suck? thx guys for reading

@sedcomet well there's still the bad ergonomics and aliasing. Not to mention aps-c vs full frame sensors which can be seen in the t2i vs 5D episode.
there's more to the conversation but it's really only relevant if you're gonna show your stuff in theaters or something.

A shame Cassandra would risk going to hell and taking her children with her. I hate commercials like that...

My university had to get a grant before we got a jib for the TV studio. Probably not for the average consumer or super-low-budget filmmaker then.

@charmedimsurebl It depends on what you get. The kessler cranes start at $730.
