Are the people interacting beyond the initial setting up of their laptop into the wireless network? Is there any connection whatsoever except that there's someone providing the WIFI network? This isn't social engagement, this is a depressing isolation despite the proximity of people who, without laptops, would otherwise be engaged in a myriad of conversations. Pathetic really. Sad.
