This is TUFF!(and with 6 stiches in her head already)

Our 10 year old crashes hard in a warmup at a gymnastics meet. When asked if she wants to sit out or cut her run, due to her fall, she not only says no, but has a great run! She also had stiches in her head from a surgury the week before!

wow she had a very bad fall. she is a very brave gymnast and a true gymnast. a gymnast gets hurt once in a while but you have to get right back up and do what you got to do. she was very brave for that. was she crying

why was she allowed to compete in the first place?

sprained wrist and landing on her head...good job to go up and do it again so not to get a mental block but still

and why she even doing flips and stuff if she has stitches in her head?

it wasn't like an olympic trial or a career altering thing if she sat out just that week was it?

good to be tough but not good to risk suffering more injuries than "necessary" at such a young age as well...

thank god for spring floors! This happened to a girl at our last meet when she panicked during a back tuck. She got up in tears, saluted the judges, and was taken away in an ambulance with a fracture in her neck. There is no doubt these girls are tough!
