Post-workout, I share one of my favorite Marshallisms: "Don't Worry About Looking Good." Everybody is going to look the way they look, whether it's "good" or "not good" - rather than waste time and energy worrying about if you look good enough, spend that energy FEELING good about what you're doing for yourself. When I go to the gym, I do it for me, and I hope that when other people see me running, instead of thinking, "Wow, check out Uncle Fester on the treadmill," they're thinking, "Shoot, if that girl can do two miles, I can do two miles!" Let inspiration be your goal if you can't help focusing on what other people think, and set an example, rather than wasting energy on worry.
