Doyle is very good, has a different style than Tommy E., but thats because he's not Tommy! Everyone has there own sound!

@lilstinky52 I grew up listening to Chet Atkins, and I don't know if anyone was better than him, because Tommy got to start listen to his ( and Merle Travis') style at about age 6 or 7!! He got to grow from what was already established......but NOBODY could have done a better job!! But I'm waiting for you to tell me about someone that well BLOW my head off!!!

@T410ce Tommy and Doyle and BOTH great and ENJOYABLE to listen to!!!!!!!!! Just learned about Doyle ( from ignorance ) but Tommy is MY forever guitar player, maybe of all time!!!! I'll still listen to Doyle ANY time! He is GREAT!!!!!!! Thanks for posting before me and helping me to witness his talent!

You can't compare them. Both have different styles and sounds. It would be like comparing Petrucci and Wylde. Both are amazing in different ways.

This guy good , but no quite as good as he thinks and not in the same class as say Naudo or Scotty Anderson but give him his due worth
The thing that makes it unlistenable for me is the horrible tinny guitar sound - I know he is paid to promote Taylor guitars but musically he would be better of with someting else

doyle is a world class guitarist recognized internationally. maybe you don't like the sound of the video but if you've heard him live you'd be blown away. taylors are also world class guitars.
