  • A first level judge and president of Xingyi research committee is just "so-so?" Who performs it better so I will know?

  • his attack of his fist not at the same time of his body and feet. Wang shu jin may be a good performer.

  • Anyway, I think his performance is not good, just so so.

  • @michahberta 12 fists is a predominant form as in combat, its usual style in use is, just for structure. the while realm of it is for combat, if its not your cup of tea, then all tutors emplore that and use it for health x

  • @Twycross my teacher is not, me does Hsingi pagua tai chi and much much mor(tuina massage) e, he taught with Mr inasonto and is the most humblest man i have yet to meet, please get in touch xxxx

  • as you are... young student..... don't;t believe you or anyone should/could judge xingyi, we all are humble and there is a never end to the knowledge (tutor Glen Jenkins).. we are all students. its an infinity xxx

  • Oh right, di guoyong, thought so. I've downloaded a couple of Andrea falks ebook translations. Guy seems to

Know his stuff and not just wushu. That said this is a lovely performance.

  • Anyone know who the performer is?

  • no bear shoulders no hip movement over turning sheeesh I think he is a form junky sorry to say.Great to learn alot of forms but hsing i is a combat system.

  • @rogerxul Sadly it seems most "kung fu masters" really are just performers. I'm not saying this with some sort of snobbish attitude but rather with a level of disappointment and sadness.

  • 格闘技ではないね。

    しいて言えば踊り?って感じ。

    私でも倒せそう♪

  • The patterns that sink are pi and beng. Beng is sinking within one inch for a male of average height. Zuan and pao are lifting and heng is crossing. Most methods have heng lifting initially, but then the energy must be directed in to a straight horizontal line before flesh makes contact. This requires a delicate refinement by feeling the motion, which is one manifestation of what they mean by "listening jin". If beng sinks one inch, then it also has risen one inch. This is important to note

  • @ IINonFictionII That's is right, but not only is the momentum being transferred from the hind to the fore, but the front leg is simultaneously generating li energy to the kua to bang into the inertial energy that is being sent through the opposite side. This guides all of the energy upwards into the trunk where it can be directed into the hands. Or wherever. A shoulder stroke in good xing yi, to the flank is potentially fatal.
