  • what type of clips do you need to have to import into cs3(wmv,avi,mov etc.)?

  • You can import and export pretty much anything. From Adobe:

    "Import and output files in QuickTime, FLV and SWF, AVI, MPEG-2, Windows Media (Windows® only), Photoshop (PSD), Camera Raw, OpenEXR, Cineon, SGI, TIFF, TGA, IFF, JPEG, ElectricImage, PDF, MP3, WAV, and AIFF formats."

    Generally, the less compressed your source footage is, the better your end result will be.
