  • Srry, but my iPhone's YouTube app doesn't let me reply to ppl. That said, I see what you mean. I guess anything that elicits that growth response. Would you recommend a paleo diet like many cross fitters do? That's is a low or no carb, high amounts of veggies and fruits, and a bunch of meat??

  • @tatsumakisempyukaku yes I would advocate a low carb diet for sure. I think unless you go 100% organic on the meat it's not worth buying because the quality of processed meat chicken ect is just terrible, full of water maltodextrin and dextrose. Also cooking any meat will kill 65% of the protein making it useless the body look it up. Dont get me started I could go on all night about this \o/

  • Was this video demonstrating H.I.T.? I thought the rep cadence was supposed to be slower than what dude in the video was doing. I thought it was a 4-5 sec positive contraction, then a 2-3 sec isometric hold when appropriate, then a 4-5 sec negative contraction??

  • @tatsumakisempyukaku most ppl use some sort of abbreviation of HIT never 100% the way mentzer laid it out, you get in to a groove, use, inplement what works for you, there is no one HIT routine.

  • Funny thing is, now Dugdale is back to training high-volume.

  • @LanceBeckman it's not funny at all, its a good thing to change any program, i do it all the time, but i never use conventional training for more that 3 weeks, im loving DC at the min.

  • @deadman315x i would say that progression every workout is the key to getting bigger and stronger without dout. you need togive your body a reason to change.it may be 2 reps or 4lbs but it must be done.

  • I'll say one thing for sure - Im Leaner, Much Harder, More Symmetrical, and just as big and strong doing HIT compared to traditional volume training. Its really funny to me actually.

  • Wow food is that bad? I've shopped at whole foods. But grass fed beef and free range chicken is soo expensive. Whole foods is great but I only get like 2-3 paper bags full of food for $80.00.

I've heard of trader joes doing organic stuff so I'll see if they have one in my area. So I hope it's not too pricey. Oh yeah, you should totally do a vid on diet and food choices.

  • @sz42781 saying HIT don’t work is like saying weights don’t work, you mean it didn’t work for you. your not always doing something wrong with HIT if you know what you’re doing, you will not get hurt no more than with another training program, HITs not power lifting at all, just because you got stronger on your 1RM, how's it power lifting when you can use a rep range of anything up to 15? Have you read Mike Mentzer HIT or Stuart MC Robot Beyond Brawn if not read them. or give DC a go.

  • @LanceBeckman Yeh bro, why is it all these so called HIT guys have videos where there busting out 8,10 reps x multiple sets exactally the opposite what they say to do. I tried HIT a while back, I got a really strong 1 rep max and had no muscle gains or visual results. The it occurred to me, HIT is power lifting, lifting extremely heavy weight for ultra low reps. When HIT doesent work your always doing something wrong, not breathing right or something,GTFO. Friggin get hurt.

  • @LanceBeckman --Irrelevant, he will never be a Samir or a Dorian, in a few months he will turn back to HIT and then some other routine after that. But when you think of it, so many high volume lifters are nobodies when your talking of the average lifter, run fast away from anyuthing that is overtraining--regardless of training style.
