The "Europe" I'm talking about is the literal land mass where literal—not figurative or imaginary—hate-speech laws have led to people being jailed merely for questioning specific facts about the Holocaust. In some cases, their defense lawyers get jailed merely for trying to present evidence. It's where Brigitte Bardot was dragged into court for criticizing Islam. It's a continent bordering on ideological totalitarianism.

Apparently the real Europe, as it exists now, doesn't exist in your mind.

Oh boo-hoo. Some well-intentioned laws are being abused by some not-so-well-intentioned people! Celebrities aren't allowed to spread intolerance without fear of someone getting upset! It's totalitarianism, I tell you!
