(Nick's POV:)
I stared at Selena, wanting to believe that I could still have something there with her.
"I'm Sorry." I looked at her.
Selena looked up from the sand at me for a second.
"It's okay..." Selena whispered, looking to her left, ignoring me.
"Could I walk you home? So I know your okay?" I asked.
"Yes." Selena's eyes returned to mine.
I started walking off the beach, Selena followed me. I glanced at her multiple times while walking.
"I'm really sorry. Do you think we could forget it. You don't tell Justin, I don't told Marissa." I looked at my feet.
"It's okay.. I don't blame you. I probably would've done the same thing.. If I wasn't completely over someone." Selena looked straight, with no hesitation.
"What?" I asked, like I didn't hear her.
"I would do the same thing if I wasn't over someone I loved." Selena stated again.
"Y-You think I have feelings for you still?" I asked, trying to make it sound like I thought she was crazy, to make her kind of regret asking that question.
"Well, why wouldn't you kiss your ex? Oh, my ex is in town, how about we kiss them and find out if there is anything there out of curiosity." Selena sarcastically clarified.
"Okay, if I had feelings for you what could I do about them? I'm with Marissa, your with Justin. We could not make it work 5 and a half months ago. What makes us think we'll work now. Selena, we obviously can't be together, regardless of our relationship status." I sighed, nervous on talking to her on this topic.
Selena agreed, as we walked up to her giant mansion. I stood outside the gates as she punched a button into the key lock on the brick wall standing to her left.
"So where should we go tomorrow?" I asked.
"I know a place. I'll talk to you tomorrow and let you know more of the details. I'll talk to Justin.. then call you up and go over it with Marissa." Selena looked up at me.
"Okay. Sounds good. I guess, Goodnight.." I looked at her.
"Goodnight." Selena said back.
I stepped closer to her and wrapped my arms around her hugging her, warmly. Selena returned the hug then disappeared behind the gates.
I woke up in the morning next to Marissa.
"Hey Handsome." Marissa smiled, rolling from her stomach onto her back, closer to me.
"Hey Adorable." I smiled.
Marissa cuddled up to me and closed her eyes, too tired to release herself from the bed. I laughed and embraced her gently.
"So, I know how pressuring it is. I decided, no breakfast with the parents. Just you and me, we'll go out and get something. Save my parents for dinner." Marissa mumbled into my chest.
"Sounds fun but can't we just stay here and sleep?" I snuggled even closer to her, so tired.
Marissa laughed.
"Come on. I'll take a quick shower so you can get it and wake up." Marissa climbed out of the bed, walking into the bathroom.
I pulled out from the covers and walked into the living room. I plopped onto the couch and flipped the Flat screen hanging on the wall on.
'Selena Gomez Has Been Spotted With New Beau Hanging In Hollywood.. At Midnight?!'
Selena's... famous? I never knew this about her. I couldn't tell people were around and her attitude wasn't different. I could tell she had herself together more than she did last time I seen her but I didn't think in 5 and half months, she would blow up all over the TV. Famous? What is Justin sees this? Selena could tell him the truth, or cover with a lie. Marissa, I have to cover with a lie cause that kiss was my fault. Not even partically Selena's.
"Nickky, Time to take a shower boo." Marissa walked out in her pink, short fuzzy robe. Wrapping her arms around my shoulder, kissing my neck.
I stood up and returned to the bedroom, taking my clothes and walking inside the bathroom.
At 10:30, Marissa and I were sitting at her favorite donut shop having breakfast it seemed.
"I love this place. Isn't it cute?" Marissa asked.
"Yeah. It's cute." I shoved the last piece of a donut into my mouth.
"I would love to start a little donut shop in Hawaii like this." Marissa looked around the donut shop.
"Hawaiians aren't big donut people Riss, we're more of.... I don't know. I've noticed, many Hawaiians like liquids. Lemonade, Fruit Punch. Open A Drinking Store.. Some kind of store where you sell drinks. Hell, open a donut shop and sell Lemonade and Fruit Punch." I claimed.
Marissa laughed.
"You're too funny." Marissa smiled at me.
"The restaurunt has also provided you with the latest magazine that issued today." The waitress rested the magazine on the table. Face up with Selena's name bold, with a mystery guy next to it. Picture of us sitting together on the beach.
I snatched it from the table and immedietly flipped through the pages to find the story.
"Chill Nicky Boo." Marissa said, mixing her milk around with her straw, although what was there to mix?
I ignored Marissa's words and opened to it. This was last night, how could they have this much information.
