Good job Neil. I was on LZ Center in 1969. Yes, it was a long walk up the side of the Hill (LZ Center). If you'd like to see some photos of Center from 1969 check out "Dawn of the Tigers, Viet Nam" on youtube. The pics with the mortar pits and bunkers are of Center. There are also a few pics of LZ East.

We bought a fake coke after coming down from the hill. It was spelled a little bit different and tasted a little bit different too. I don't remember the exact price but it may have been a little cheaper than .50. It was near the bottom of the hill.

this was a great video.i was with the 196th.we stayed on l.z.center when we were not in the field this brings back a lot of memories.can not believe how it looks today .thank you for postlng these videos. wish i could go back but i do not see that happening. again thanks for sharring

No Problem, glad you enjoyed it. I work in Saigon so maybe next year I can go up one more time and go to some of the areas we missed. We didn't have alot of time the day we finally were able to get out there.
