I have friends who have read the books & told me that Jason actually turned. For someone like me who hasn't read the books, HBO has literally turned Jason into a dumb-jock who can't control his erections. After a while, that gets old. Why bring in Crystal & have her torture Jason & not have him turn? HBO lost me with that one. That's why Crystal seems like a non factor in that season. HBO has made a lot of the stories too gimmicky like the FOS, the Maynad & the faeries-imo

Crystal and Hoyt were both in the books. Jessica is the only one who wasn't. The Fellowship of the sun also played a major part in Living Dead in Dallas and Dead and Gone (In others as well but I can't remember which). Crystal was necessary but I wished that they would have made Jason a half Werepanther like in the books, it would have made him a more interesting character. Hopefully they introduce the other Were animals as well and do a season about the Weres coming out like the vampires did.

Lunatic??? REALLY??? Your comment makes no sense at all. Duh, Sookie's part fae so I'm well aware of the faeries & how essential they are to the show. It's the delivery of their version of the story & plot that is STUPID (yes all caps again). Not to mention all the other unnecessary characters that were added i.e. Christal, the in-bred were-panther, Hoyt, Jessica (who's annoying) oh, and the militia based "soldiers of the sun". I could go on & on about how this show has completely lost its way

Calm down a bit and get a grip on your caps lock there, you sound like a lunatic. I for one am kind of glad that the show did not follow the books line for line. That would have been boring. I like the fact that when I watched the show it was different, that I didn't know for sure what to expect. I assumed you were one of those people that were angry about the introduction of the faeries into the storyline. I personally hope that they introduce the other Fae creatures as well especially Demons.
