  • @toddarm2006 i agree Aretha can sing but I'd have to tie her with Patty Labelle those two are iconic!

  • Some of ReRe's beat Columbia Period work. Her prodigious vocal gifts coupled with Ray Ellis' arrangement makes what might have been an unbelievably hokey song otherwise, work.

  • we had this album when I was a kid. It also had some great songs on it. I wish I could find this on CD.

  • I totally agree with you. The chain smoking affected her voice throughout the mid 80s but she came back in the 90s. But the weight she gained recently messed up her voice. She really soesnt sound the same. I wish she could loose the weight so she could sound better.
