  • "Is it just me or does the auto focus sound a lot like a dolphin?"

    "I'm a part-time job enthusiast."

"I teach highschoolers that will pick apart my screen casts as though they were the trailers for a new video game that's coming out."

I think the private desktop is just so that students aren't overwhelmed by it's awesomeness that results in an adventure of conversation as each icon is presented and the magic of programs are witnessed.

  • Well said Richard,

    1. I am considering a digitally remastered version, with annotation listed in the lower-third, and a bit more of a narrative.

    2. Mostly, I just ranted at the camera. There are hours of un-reviewed footage, minutes of which may even be usable.

    3. Pine Sap.

    Thanks for the feedback!

    Your friend,

  • Dan, what can I say:

    1. I loved your video, but I couldn't tell when one Commandment ended and another began.

    2. I was NOT distracted by the way you stopped recording between each sentence. Did you really write a script?

    3. The mirror was a really cool trick. But how do I velcro the SLR to my iMac. It's too thin?

    4. I liked the commercial mimicry.

    5. May I recommend putting your Commandments in story form. I just read Made to Stick. You got all the elements, but the storyline. Bye

  • Okay, hysterical! Even funnier than the first time I heard your spiel at camp and definitely solidified my crush on your beard. Thanks for my cameo illustration as the groupie with the "again" sign at 1:03 to 1:10. And don't try to tell me that isn't me! You totally nailed my googly-eyes.

  • It is a great beard :)

  • "I'm a part-time job enthusiast." is now a catch-phrase in the PR office at TechSmith.

  • @DirkFrazier

I would find a way to plug Jing, in a tutorial about corn flakes. No other software allows me to collaborate with friends as efficiently, or to capitalize on mid-conversation-meme opportunities. Thanks for the kind words!
