First off sorry this took so long - No time, dead batteries, and retarded codecs. Always an adventure in my world.

This is a little more of a detailed explanation of how I installed Ledopard 10.5.1 onto my computer.

  • Have you tried a wrapper for your ati driver, such as ndis.

  • That I haven't. I really haven't tried much on that project since these vids actually. I couldn't do those all nighters like in the vids.

  • question. . . .

I got it install allready.. but I can hear nothing!!! there just noo sound no audio. . . Do I need another driver sound.. orr do I need a USB speker?? or WHAAATT?

  • Sounds like you need the Kexts for your sound chipset/card. You can look them up ( most likely ) on the OSX86 Wiki ( just google that ) as they have a list of hardware that works

  • lol, noted

  • Ok, ignore my last comment, as it was incredibly stupid. lol.

  • So it appears my processor is DRR3. Thanks a deal kill right? :(

  • Best place to look would be the OSXWiki they give a pretty comprehensive list of what does and does not work.

  • Cool, yeah I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 that i would like to try it on so long as I can go back and fix anything I mess up. One more question, where would I go to find out if the appropriate kext is available? Thanks.

  • Drivers in the OSX86 world are known as Kext's and if your Wifi doesn't work once installed then you would need to find the appropriate kext for your card if it exists. Laptop Keyboards are USUALLY PS2 ( not USB ) but that is just usually.

If it goes wrong, just pop in the GParted CD, format the drive as either unpartitioned or NTFS and reinstall windows. The installation should not harm any hardware. Im not going to say wont, just in case it does, but I don't see how it would be possible.
