Dr. Massimo Pigliucci, well known evolutionary biologist, and Robert Allen debate: "Has Man Evolved from Other Species?' Massimo kindly agrees to appear on the program to defend the theory that man evolved. Dr. Massimo Pigliucci is an associate professor of ecology and evolution at SUNY Stony Brook. Robert Allen is a former evolutionist that has been debating origins for over 25 years. He is currently a research associate in the Fish Diagnostics Laboratory at the University of Mississippi and earned his B.S. in Education (Zoology and Botany) in 1970. He later earned his M.S. in Education (Combined Sciences) in 1989 from William Carey College a Christian College. One of the students on the front page of the college's website is quoted as saying, "I chose Carey because I wanted a Christian education..."

@11aaabc Science as a rigorous study of different field is only a couple hundred years old,so there were no "scientists" 3000 or even 1000yrs ago. Intuition and philosophical discussion was where we got "the world is flat",because by anyone just standing someplace the world is indeed flat. Rigorous investigation that resembles that we now call the scientific method is what determined the earth was not flat,which was considered a blasphemy against the church and God.So your example fails

That lets me know they are not as smart as they think they are. 3000 years ago Pigliucci would have said ALL us smart guys accept the earth is flat. You deny ALL science if you say its not flat.
