Rick Warren & Chuck Todd Censoring Debate
Saddleback Church and Brokeback Corporate Media.

When the 2008 Democratic Primaries held a full roster of 9 candidates, the first debates were engaging and informative.
Slowly but surely the questions were steered to only three and then two of the nine candidates. In later debates, Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich were virtually blackballed on stage. While questions were batted back and forth between Hillary and Barack with occasional volleys from Edwards, Dodd, Biden and Richardson.

In one debate, Kucinich was blotted out for the entire first half, when the "moderator" asked him a "suicide-question"..
Congressman Kucinich was asked, 'Do you think the Power of Prayer will help the Victims of Katrina?'.
To which Kucinich answered "To be honest, I was praying myself, that you were eventually gonna call on me.."
(This was at a time that many independent online polls and surveys by CNN ABC and several others showed Dennis Kucinich at 45-70% popularity!)
The beginning of the end..
After being allowed less and less "camera-time" Kucinich was "Uninvited" from three debates in a row that he had qualified for.
1- the AARP Debates. Kucinich had been invited then uninvited less than a week before the broadcast. A giant health Insurance company shuts out the not-for-profit healthcare candidate.
2-ABC Kucinich was uninvited as ABC abruptly said that it decided to "Re-Do" it's criteria for Candidates to participate. a few days prior to their Nationally Broadcast Debate.
3-NBC/ MSNBC uninvited Kucinich 2 days prior to it's Nationally Broadcast Nevada Debate. Kucinich sued NBC in state court... and WON. The Judge told NBC that must make good on it's original, formal invitation to Kucinich or be faced with having the debate shut down by State Troopers.
--NBC/ General Electric got the case heard overnight by the Nevada Supreme Court... Their Lawyers got the verdict Overturned a couple of hours before the scheduled broadcast.. Based on protection of NBC's "Freedom of Speech"!
All of this was carefully synchronized with the announcements of Dodd and Biden that they were pulling out of the race.
Hence, when American Voters read headlines that "Candidates are pulling out..", then didn't see or hear Kucinich in any more debates, they wouldn't put two and two together that he was muted, excluded and excommunicated from the corporate-controlled-media.
Mike Gravel? virtually the same story.
Take the microphone away from him on stage, leaving him standing there like a paperweight.
Independents such as Ralph Nader have been locked out of all televised debates for the past decades. Once the Dems and Repubs formed their own corporation to "run" the Debates, it was as good as having the Mob deciding who speaks and who get's silenced. Yeah, the Mob.
Ralph Nader is an ideal example.
His track record of fighting FOR the people and their rights and protections is legendary. He is truly a world-renowned figure in the pursuit of Justice for the average Joe.
His policies, positions and proposals resonate soundly with the vast majority of American voters (when they are presented to them, that is.)
Yet, somehow, he is denied any media coverage, other than the cursory, local coverage.
This is the purest, modern form of "Media Assassination". In front of millions, if not billions of witnesses, the few in charge of the largest multinational corporations control the flow of the largest reaching media, thus nearly all information that reaches the huddled masses.
Silence is Golden..
Gold buys an awful lot of silence.
So, while all of two Americans (out of 300,000,000) can have their voices heard in the most critical Presidential election in US history, the American people still sit happily numb, imagining that they "have a choice"... one of Two.
That's as bad as offering us Anything we want , as long as it is Burger King or McDonalds.

Rick Warren? Another piece of the puzzle. Right on cue. Continue the false perception that America has a choice (of only two!)..
A jillionaire Preacher with his mouth to the ears of a big chunk of the American populous, re-states the lie that we have the choice between only two "fellow Americans".
He gets a ton of TV time, Interviews during the exciting buildup and the aftermath, a boost in sales of his books and a few hundred thousand more followers.
Ignore the Man Behind the Curtain, Dorothy.
Stand up to Power.

  • You have it backwards. The reason third party candidates have no chance at election is because of how the electoral process is in this country. Third party candidates cannot participate in debates and have to spend almost all of their time getting on the ballots. There is no reason we can't give these parties a chance, the 2 major parties are just worried they might lose power.

  • chuck todd is a political jack-off

  • Well said, Dutch. Thanks for the video.

  • Both have very different contrasting views of constitution that cannot be reconciled. Ron Paul wants to destroy every branch of government created after I think like 1980 (education, Commerce etc), abolish the income tax. Kucinich wants to increase funding to department of education etc, and raise the income tax on the rich. they're view of "individual liberty" is very different as well. ron paul takes a stance to abolish abortion, restrict gay marriage. kucinich is the opposite.

  • Because both speak out against the prevailing mindset of the media psychological matrix. Both support liberty of the individual, but from different perspectives.

  • this sort of notion that the media needs to give equal screen time to every political party. the news is driven by a: supply and demand of what people want to hear, relevant things happening. neither of which third partie have done, or at least a wide scale. the can't be relevant because they rarely get elected in lower government. and there is not real demand for news for them, because they have yet to really do much.

  • if i remember correctly, there was an attempt at a third party debate. i think two of them showed up. mind you this was online, but it shows their level of commitment. now if we were to elevate third parties into the main debates, that would be unfairly elevate them to a status they didn't earn. Are you alan keyes has the same right as nader to be on that stage? or baldwin? Do we allow only one third party candidate. the debates are already short on time for answers as it is.

  • push poll wont do it i meant to say.

i am not defending the dems or the repubs because they have better positions or anything, but we should not allow any third party simple because they are a third party. they need to meet a certain requirement. other nations have other political parties not because the government demanded it, but the parties forced it.

  • are telling me she is an evil corporate fascist? third parites should focus on the local and state level, become successful, and build from there. there is real sense of liberterianism in this country, yet the libertarian party with its rigid ideology has yet to galvanize on any of that.

third parties have yet to prove themselves to the american people by a large margin, yet continue focusing on the presidential level. push polls wanted do it. you need elected officials.

  • they should really focus on building a lasting coalition. ron paul, who ran as liberterian in 1988, left the party after promising to help it grow and rejoined the republicans. after two impressive showings in 1992 and 1996, the reform party could not unite and became virtually irrelevant. ralph nader had an impressive campaign in 2000, but let it get to his head. he has not tried to build the green party meaningfully, and did not run with them in 2008. his previous running mate endorsed dems.

  • first of all, every government is different. for example, britain has other parties, but the only have two real major parties. the other parties are much smaller and have yet to become prime minister. they have seats but their electoral process works differently than ours. secondly, the reason why third parties have failed to grow is third parties themselves. they believe that you start from the top, focusing too much of the efforts on the presidential elections.

  • sol3dg3: 300 million+ Americans and you feel that two parties offers a representative choice to vote for?

    Are you high?

Every "Democratic" nation has a "FIELD" of parties to choose from. Here, we get Corporate Fascist 1 or Corp Fascist 2. Both Dem and Rep parties are fully detached from the people and represent the money.. that pours in from corp lobbyists.

So if you are totally happy with a field of 2 to rep the broad spectrum of thought, you might choose to live in China.

    Are you 12?
