  • Fortunately, most of the negative vids you are referencing had revealing titles so I just didn't watch. Those who believe that the Christians on stickam could've done anything only reveal their lack of faith. A believer SHOULD believe that s/he has nothing to do with whether or not another comes to faith. It is God who brings people to faith.

    Anyway, thanks for this video.

The recent events have certainly given me a stronger appreciation for the very difficult work that you do. Peace, Rob

  • @LiftAloft Thanks Rob. You truly are a person who is a great reflection of living their faith. I aprreciate you so much.

  • I am glad to see you posting again, I've missed seeing you around. Sorry to hear you have had health stuff going on. thanks for making this video, Will's passing has really affected me.

  • @SisterSunshineTV I know Will/s suicide would affect you because of your close friendship with him.Hope to see you in stickham soon.

  • I'm very angry about "those videos." Will KNEW the gospel. In fact, he knew it better than a lot of Christians on here. From my perspective, it was not a lack of witnessing. It was a lack of Holy Spirit. I do think some of those who think we should "punch you in the mouth with the gospel message" need to understand that you first need to be loved for who you are. Will kept coming back to the Christian room because we LOVED him. He knew where he stood theologically but he knew we loved him.

  • @VioletKitty411 It makes me laugh when I hear some Christians try to make them selves superior because they only talk to non Chrisitians to witness to them. They look at people like Spiritual scalps" on their belt for Jesus. They are clueless.

  • How old was your PT?

  • @Nanee715 Cool, together it should get better ; especially if you can manage to de-stress... Ulcers & worry seem to go together, traditionally...

    Ciao !

  • @WarblesOnALot I am on medication also.

  • @Lacybunny Thanks for you comments.

  • @VioletKitty411 Hi VK. I am guessing that your poor departed friend may have suffered depression. Apologies if I am wrong. But if that was the case, I can confirm, having had severe depression myself that psychiatrists are correct that depression is a genuine illness. Brain functioning is perturbed. When the emotions sufferers are in intense pain and cannot perceive reality, what is right, or wrong. It is a pain that you cannot know until you've suffered. Its like being on fire.

  • Depression is very often the cause of suicide.Having had severe depression I can to state that it is emotion, that drives the behavior and not cognitive reasoning. CBT can help if the emotions are moderate, but when the emotions are severe, they become completely disjoint from thought processes, good advice, a kind word, reality or any of those things.Your mood can alternate between high and very low within the space of minutes without cause. At that stage It is genuinely a brain illness.
