i never knew he was such a nice guy. i wasnt born yet when he played so all i've seen are old clips showing how aggressive and hardnosed he was. its good to see this side of him off the court. thats the perfect kind of player anyway, one thats kind and intelligent off the court but wants to bust your teeth in once they're betwwen the lines

Kareem is the name that he chose for himself. He's fighting leukemia and you fight over what name he was born with.

He's always been a class act.

@minute1981 It is reported the cancer was caught early.When I was coming up I would play basketball and use the hook shot a lot.Most of my friends call my hook shot the "Nasty Hook"I was 87% with the shot in accuracy.
