Awesome vid, nancyblackett!
Thanks!
The Original BBC- aired Life On Mars is inimitable.
The U.S. version might have been OK - although no where near the brilliance of the original - but, the networks have that PC-disorder and also don't give shows enough time to develop a following before canceling them. Also, the way the US version ended was... painful.

who sings this song?

Can anyone please tell me where a good website has the piano sheets of the song?

the acting was superb,
the love story sublime,
the writing very clever, "your mobile what sir?"
the visuals almost correct in every detail,
but nothing came closer to perfection than the music selection.
decision/indecision- the tragic vincent crane at his most brilliant and ethereally beautiful.

I remember the BBC version being promoted on BBC America, but never watched it. The US version came into existence, I watched it , got hooked, needed to watch the rest of series, so I downloaded the british version and never went back to the US version, because it sucked. In 1973 , you could smoke anywhere and alot of people smoked. British version showed that, Us version didnt show anyone smoking. I hate political correctness.

The British version is the Best, cause its believable. Thats how it was back in the 70s. The Yank version is copied and they are just try hards. They can't think for themselves. Even when they have something to copy theystill screw it up, how useless is that.

Oh my God - that sounds such a cheesey ending, dude! I thought the opening of the US series when Sam wakes in 1973 and sees the Twin Towers intact a really powerful scene, but it's climax sounds awful. I believe the Uk version finally gets a release on DVd in the US this July - If you've never seen the BBC series before, please check it out - it's a modern classic. :)
