  • @ jcast18k: American Public Access TV in 1979 relied on older, discarded b&w camera and editing equipment "donated" for public use. By 1982 and our second show, we were in colour!

  • who plays the show's theme song, mister curtiss?

  • @darrenedesignedu: our theme was "Mescal" by the brilliant Italian band, Arti + Mestieri, from the "Giro" album, circa 1977. Thanks for viewing and asking.

  • The interviewer forgets the name of the show at the beginning!

  • @pencildives: Aaron had a stammer, not Alzheimers!

  • Fripp is the Spock of Rock.

  • Robert Fripp acts more like a intelligent scientist than a arrogant rock musician. The way he speaks makes it impossible to guess that he is a rock musician and a guitarist.

  • Habla mas como un gran cientifico inteligente que una simple estrella arrogante del rock. Todo un personaje. Humildad ante todo.

  • a stupendous guitar player.

  • フィリップ氏の神通力とはなんぞや

  • what is the track in the intro ?

  • What a cool, intelligent guy.

  • Conservative sometimes also carries with it introspective. And introspective sometimes carries with it thoughtful. And thoughtful sometimes, just sometimes carries with it genius.

    Beware of the "sometimes", though.

  • Actually Hyde took Fripp's 1973 look.

  • Even his stoner 70's look was sharp and sober as fuck. At least compared to his loosely dressed, long haired, "colourful" peers and fellow musicians. He's always been a sober and sharp person, it seems to me.

  • can anyone see the face

  • I always get a kick out of how after "his head blew off" and he broke up the Cross/Wetton/Bruford ensemble he started dressing super sharp, versus his stoner look prior.
