also I think it's worth clarifying that the majority of schools send you a primary application as long as your primary application is verified (i.e. they don't even review your application). There are, however, a handful of schools that actually "screen" your 1' application prior to sending you a secondary -that is, they see whether or not your GPA/MCAT/state of residency/personal statements are in line with the school's mission. If you get secondaries from these schools they actually "like you"
