On August 26th 2004 we lost a great woman with a voice that filled our radio airwaves and made us dance till we couldnt dance anymore. I will be posting this on August 26th 2008 to let everyone know that Laura's voice and music still lives on for generations to come.

Thank You Laura for your voice. Thank you Laura for your songs. Thank you Laura for having the perfect love songs when we needed them. Thank you Laura for being the woman who raised our spirits when we were down. Thank you Laura for making us tap our feet, swing our arms and dance to the beat of your songs. THANK YOU

  • what year was this concert does anyone know?????

  • @npjonhson this was done in 1990 at the Trump Plaza In Atlantic City

  • OH GOD HOW SAD IT MAKES ME, TO KNOW THAT HER DEATH COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED....ANEURYSNMS ARE TREATABLE AND PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TO DIE FROM IT, IF EARLY DETECTED. THERE HAD TO BE SOME KIND OF SIGNS, LIKE HEADACHES, DIZZINESS, LIKE HEADEDNESS..HOW COME COBODY PAID ATTENDION TO THOSE SIGNS???THIS IS A REAL TRAGEDY...THE WORLD LOST A GREAT SINGER...BUT SHE WILLLIVE FOR EVER THROUGH HER MUSIC...LAURA BRANIGAN, YOU WILL LIVE FOREVER...

  • @HerecomesLori From what I remember, Laura did mention she had headaches in the weeks before her passing. And from what I believe her father and grandfather also had passed away from aneurysms. The signs were there but no one paid attention to them. I guess the Angels needed a strong voice for the Choir of all Choirs.

  • Hey sookie, when did Laura do this performance, do you know? Thanks for posting.

  • Wonderful Song and Stunning Laura !!

  • @sookie2007 hi.... brain aneurysms are hereditary! My mother, father, brother and aunt had one. My father died of one and my mother was paralyzed on the left side and died 2 years later of a heart attack. My brother got checked because of the hereditary issue and so did my aunt. So if anyone reading this has had family with them, please get yourself checked! On the other hand, Laura Branigan did great on this song!!! I did not know she had died. I'm so sorry! RIP..............
