This is a clip from the movie "Tiempo de morir" (A time to die), featuring music composed by the brilliant Leo Brouwer. The guitar is heard only briefly introducing the main theme, a dreamy melody, which is then passed to the piano. Later in the movie the theme gets also picked up by the bandoneon (I think). Here is a task for Juergen to come up with a transcription for solo guitar ;). The movie itself is quite interesting too, but, lacking subtitles, I can only encourage my Spanish-speaking friends to watch it. The clip unfortunately has a few hiccups during the song, which came from the original DVD.
Good Movie, but in Colombia there is more to explore...there are many movies to see, others has been lost, but exist. For example, there is a movie about of the leader death Guadalupe Salcedo (1969).
En Colombia hay muchas cosas por filmar, pero muchas más por escribir, Tiempo de morir es una realidad macabra, pero al interior del pais y en pueblos cercanos a Bogotá, estas historias no solo se repiten sino que son constantemente rebasadas.
