on hte 1st of december (just yesterday from this day) venus made its trek behind the moon, it was a great sight to behold, its a very bright planet i must say

On december the 1st 2008 the Moon will pass right over Venus. This "occultation" will be visible in the evening (17.55-19.25 CET) in Europe. Of course only the disappearance at the dark side of the moon disk and the reapparition of Venus at the lighted crescent side will be the interesting phenomena. Get your camera ready!
