  • For all that say unschooling is brainwashing it's really not. I wish I was unschooled. . . public education has a few benefits but they're mostly social. I went through public education, the quality of my work/time/effort in public education is so minimal, I have no real prized work from anything I did in school. I did NOT save any of my research papers & ect as they may have recieved As or Bs, they did not change the world or were even interesting/original. Teachers suck these days. . .

  • why havent you been shot

  • @iammolly98

Yes, you really show what a good, solid education accomplishes.

What grade are you in right now? Third? Fourth?

You write like a third grade level at least.

No capitalization, incorrect and missing punctuation, spelling errors, lack of basic word comprehension and an inconsistent, rambling train of thought.

Yes! A shining example of what the public schools are churning out.

I'm sure you will be a great "preformer", whatever that is.

Thank you for proving their (not "there") point.

  • @Aresftfun Yeah. I saw the movie.... it is pretty ridiculous and illustrates why youth need some kind of liberation.... or at least they need to know it's okay to go against their parents.

  • @UnschoolingEagle No I haven't. I've heard of it. It shows this one lady brainwashing children in mass groups in one point in the film, I think.

  • @Aresftfun Did you ever watch the movie Jesus Camp?

  • @UnschoolingEagle That is true, but more in the south. I live in the north so it's not a large problem, but I also live in the most religious state, arguably.

  • @Aresftfun Believe me, I know. They are essentially indoctrinating and brainwashing their children. Sadly that is what many home-schooling parents do. Don't make the mistake though of thinking public school doesn't indoctrinate and brainwash the youth itself. Why do you think there is such a blind defense of schools and government?

  • @UnschoolingEagle There are fundamentalist mormons and christians home-schooling because they don't want their kids to learn about evolution. Of course not all do that.
