a nemi story episode seven [ first date ]

The next day... Demi is in her room & Mrs. Lovato is downstairs. Demi is getting ready for her date.

Mrs. L: Demi? Are you okay? You've been up there for hours!
Demi: I'm fine, Mom, just getting ready!
Mrs. L: For your big date?
Demi: Yes... I want it to be perfect!
Mrs. L: I'm sure you will look great, hon. Come on down here.
Demi: *gulps* Okay... here I come!

- Demi comes down the stairs and looks stunning in a black gress with a gold belt and matching gold heels; her hair is straight. -

Mr. L: *whistles*
Demi: *blushes* Dad!
Mr. L: *laughs and walks into the kitchen*
Mrs L: You look great, Dems! Nick will be here any second.
Demi: *looks out the window nervously* He's here! *waits impatiently in the hallway*

Nick comes to the door and rings the bell. Demi answers and the two smile and blush.

Demi: Hi.
Nick: Hi.
Mrs. L: Well, you two have such strong vocabulary! Really, I'm having trouble keeping up in the conversation.
Demi: Mom! Umm... so...
Nick: *blushes* Should we go?
Demi: Yes! Bye, mom and dad! *hugs her parents bye*
Mr. & Mrs. L: Bye, hon! Be home by 11.

The two get into Nicks car and drive away. The car ride is nervous and silent.

Nick: So...
Demi: Umm... where are we going?
Nick: Oh! Uhmmm to the "Red Bluff"
Demi: Oooh that place is nice! *smiles*
Nick: *relaxes a bit* Yeah, I thought so!
Demi: *laughs*
Nick: So, we're here...

The pair head inside and have their very first date. It is slightly akward at first, but they find things to talk about.

After the date, at Demis house...

Nick: *stops his car* Well, we're here...
Demi: Yeah... uhhmm...
Nick: Should I... walk you to your door?
Demi: Umm.. okay!
Nick: *gets out of the car and walks Demi to her door* Okay so...
Demi: Umm... bye!
Nick: *leans in and kisses Demi quickly, the pulls away to look at her face*
Demi: Ummm.. thanks? Okay bye! *opens the door, runs inside and closes it quickly*
Nick: *laughs* Bye, Dems. *heads home*
Demi: Wow, what a great date... *heads to her room* Could it really have been so perfect?
