On War extra - Vietnam's massacre survivors

My Lai was not the only massacre during the Vietnam war and US soldiers not the only ones to commit atrocities.

In November 1966 in a nearby village in Central Vietnam, Korean soldiers allegedly rounded up and killed scored of civilians. As part of his On War series Josh Rushing talks to a man who says he survived.

Meanwhile on the same day as the My Lai atrocities, villagers only a kilometre away were rounded by US soldiers from Alpha Company. Josh talks to one woman who explains how fortunate they all were to survive.

What people of the world don't notice that much is the violence of the Koreans. I don't ,of course mean all of the Koreans are bad but it is becoming a very serious problems in Japan now that many Koreans come to Japan and they on purposely try to rape Japanese women and they have no sense of guilt. It is also believed that there are estimated 50,000 illigal Korean women working as prostitutes.

@hacksign000 I know what i'm talking about, i'm american and living in Vietnam(i get treated like a spy, facebook isn't even allowed in your country just like china). i see right threw the two face Vietnamese people can be...If i do something i get snitch on, even if i ride a motorcycle cop discriminate me and my money. but if i was Korean or Chinese heh heh there ok.. cover it up by saying( it's how culture in Vietnam is, if things don't go there way with foreigner)

@hotpopcorncake But I do partly agree with you that the current youth of vietnam seems to be obsessed with korea mainly due to their pop cultural (kpop etc).  They tend to be indifferent to Japan but gets excited over Koreans. Tbh, it's mainly because these vietnamese are young are know nothing of history.

@hotpopcorncake wtf are you talking about ? I'm Vietnamese but I have never heard of the stuff you say. The current people in Vietnam doesn't hate the US. We know that their involvement during the war was to stop the spread of communism (amongst other things....) . I don't know of a single vietnamese who hates america. Same goes for Japan. Personally, my boyfriend is Japanese.

@xsilentrainx @xsilentrainx That doesn't mean, American sin will be saved or forgiven or disappear. At least, in that way with showing back with laking of sincereness as a man from the top to the bottom. Rather, it's estimated. U are always depending onto many Asian's gentleness or something. U don't seem to have a sense to feel a thing as a man.
