Photos from my Denali expedition in 2008. Denali (Mt McKinley) is the highest mountain in North America and one of the 7-summits.
Four of our six man unguided team reached the summit. We climbed via the West Buttress.

Good catch with the trimmed down JD song! I actually had to do that to keep the video under 10 minutes (the maximum allowed by YouTube).
The low percentage success rate was a reflection of the early season during which the picture was taken. (The photo was taken at the start of the trip.) The 2008 season actually ended with a pretty good success rate of over 50%. It is amazing to me though how many people give up because of a few bad weather days... Cheers!

Pretty good. Maybe more flow to the vid by a continuum of music; all John Denver, say? Or the Hottie-with-the-shottie giving a speech... haha
Why such a low Summit percent rate? Do people run out of food waiting out the high winds?
