Nice guys. I'm using this idea, credit to you. You might consider filling Easter eggs up with airsoft bbs and launching it.

Ive been thinking... maybe i could make a bottle launcher out of PVC pipes, and the bottle would be launched by rubber bands.... hmm...
-
ps make sure you rotate the valve when making it so if ur shooting from right sholder the valve handle is on the right side
-
just letting everyone now nerf vortex pocket foorballs are the perfect size for these airsoft rocket launchers they fit perfectl in 2 inch pvc. if you are going to use these at an airsoft field i recomend the howling nerf vortex because of the high pitch sound they make the reefs will know ones be fired and watch for it to make sure people behind cove rthe rocket hits call thier hits

@ExplodingTV You'll need:
- two long pieces of PVC.
--A ball valve (i think that is what it's called)
--a pressure-rated PVC cap
--PVC Glue or Cement
--A bike valve (to get the air in)
--Any necessary connecter pieces.

One comment for anyone who makes one of these, Make sure the endcap you use for the air chamber is "pressure rated", or "pressure safe". Also, make sure you use enough (but not too much) glue, and give it time to dry before using the gun. I failed to do *both* of these the first time, and the endcap blew off and almost injured me. Be careful, don't hurt yourself

what would happen if i made it shorter

If you made the rear end, where the pressurized air is stored, shorter, the Launcher would store less air, and be *less powerful*. If you made the front end shorter, the Launcher's range and accuracy would be decreased.

The bike air valve, I actually took from a bike tire. I cut it out of the tire, and cut about an inch in diameter of the surrounding rubber. So you drill the hole, and BEFORE you glue on the endcap, you put PVC glue on the bike valve, and stick it up through the hole, so the extra rubber glues to the inside. then you glue on the endcap.
