There you go again Bill, picking all those mando chords so nice and clean (not an accidentally muted, mistaken string in the bunch). I've never heard the song, but your delivery is always so soulful that somehow I feel I've heard it somewhere.

I am not familiar with this song but you make it sound pretty good.

ezpeazee ... when may we delight in your mandolin wizardry? as i remember, yours is a bowlback ... a "strident?"
-
yes ... it served motown very, very, very, etc. ... well - for many, many, many, etc. ... songs.

Ahhh
Thank you, once again, Bill.
Think you'll like this - I was listening to your video in my store and a friend came in and said oh- you're listening to that friend of yours - Bill Kilpatrick!
Keep up the good work - I'm enjoying the NYC songs!

A very nice rendition, Bill. I've always preferred Mary's version to The Temptations cover.
Leaving a bunch of stars for you, my friend.

grazie amico, but fun ain't the half of it ... to be 16 years old, at a high school dance in 1960-something ... when this song was much more than charming (or otherwise) nostalgia ...
all things change but the game remains the same.
