How to temp root the Evo 3d (OLD)

This is the temporary root for the evo 3d. It unroots when you restart the phone. This method also works for the htc sensation.

To remove bloatware from the phone type: (don't type the # it should already be there)

# mount -t rfs -o remount,rw /dev /block/st15 /system
# rm /system/app/amazonmp3.apk
# mount -o remount,ro -t rfs /dev/stl5 /system

Where it says amazon.mp3 it can be any app you want to remove. This is only temporary and the Bloatware will come back when you reboot.

Need a little help please, When I'm in the cmd i type adb devices and it gives me "adb" is not recognized as an internal or external command. I downloaded the driver and my phone is in debug mode. I would really appreciate the help

@ausbostinmang that's how I feel about a LOT of things. Then i see other people like @qbking77 that make a video on how to change the brightness on an android device, and he's getting more views and subs than me. So maybe I need to stop thinking, everyone knows how to connect to wifi, and make a 'how to connect to wifi' video!

adb has been moved to platform-sdk from tools. In the Cmd you need to CD into platform-sdk and you will find adb.
