Bad Bikers - Bad Road Manner

I have complained about other people not letting bikers past simply because they are dicks. The problem is with people and not what they drive/ride... some people are just dicks and there is nothing you can do about it... I have seen many cyclists ride well; cab drivers and van drivers letting me pass and so forth... so I am not prejudiced.

I never hold up anyone and I expect the same... If you can't ride faster then step aside and let the others pass. Safe filtering is around 10mph faster than the traffic. Yesterday I filtered past 3 4 police cars at 50mph (speed limit on road)... surely if I did anything dangerous they would have stopped me? I have also followed police bikes at 40mph+ filtering. Everyone has their opinion but the guy is an ass and that's the problem. Frankly you don't get many bikers that will lane hog.

So, I watched this entire non-event right up until the end. This would be one those videos that make you (me) go "hmm-ponderous". Seriously though "DragonXDrei", you must get out more...the man is cautiously and politely slitting lanes, which is more than likely perfectly legal in that he's clearly not in some separate rush. He's not trying to jump in and out of lanes in an effort to me covert. The man looks aware and in control. Can anybody help me here? What makes this worthy?

@vistion Nothing wrong besides lane hogging and having no courtesy whatsoever. I can also go on a 50mph road and do 10mph holding people behind me, I am doing nothing wrong besides be a complete ass. I was once forced to do max 20mph on my bike so what I did was ride by the side and made sure to allow people to pass me. If you are a dick in general then you will see nothing wrong with keeping someone behind you for 6 minutes, however I am aware of people behind me and let them pass.

Have a look dumb fuck at 16:45:53 on the video stamp or 1 minute utube time you had 2 cars worth of space between the blue car and the van to your right in which even your fat ass and shit bike could fit but chose to be a dick and carry on... and then carry on passing every other possible space. You were also filtering between 2nd and 3rd lane knowing that you were going left onto the exit instead of filtering between 1st and 2nd lane to go left, look who's the fucking dick now...

@DragonXDrei Why are you so concerned about available space between vehicles? Space accounts for nothing, because it can be gone in half a second. Instead of worrying about the more cautious motorcyclists "holding you back", why not pay more attention to your surroundings, realise that you are on the public highway and not Brands Hatch, and actually learn how to ride in a manner appropriate to the conditions. The only ass in this video is you. At 0:33, you may as well have been his pillion.

Obviously this guy isn't in as much of a rush to get knocked off like you when a car desides to not pay attention and drift over closing the space you're headed for at too fast a mile an hour! I'm a biker and I can't say anything against someone being a cautious especially whilst surrounded by mind numbed and unaware car drivers sat in traffic!. As you should do with cautious learners be patient and if anything thankful you can actually make progress unlike the cars!!

This is why they call motorcycle riders organ donors. even if it's legal or not riding on the center lines of any lane is a quick way to get run over. going slower or faster while doing it seems like a moot point. Just imagine one of those cars going for a quick lane change and not seeing the bike. You get run over by at least 2 cars before anyone reacts but best of luck to ya.

Perfect example of terrible riding. From the camera man that is. I dont know what the laws or customs are over there but to me the rider thats operating the camera is the one being pretty stupid. Driving my car i've had 2 motor drivers wipe out right in front of me because some other car with an idiot in it switches lanes without checking. Point is, the riders wiped out and had damages. Even a broken arm for one of them. You gotta keep in mind there are idiots out there and drive accordingly.

i ride a motorcycle too, but, why can't he just follow traffic like EVERYBODY else, yes this is slightly faster but ALOT more accidents happen this way just because people are stupid, both cagers and bikers. i mean seriously, its not worth making everyone stressful for a few seconds while you lane split past them, kinda selfish. just because we ride bikes doesnt mean we can take more risks than regular traffic
