Derek Sivers talks about CDBaby and distribution at the 2005 Future of Music Policy Summit. To see the whole interview or to find out more about the upcoming summit, go to futureofmusic.org
well , ill tell you this my friends , derek sold to a company that does not anser emails back for days , they dont seem to know what the hell they are doing now . cd baby was great in my opinion UNTIL the new people bought it now it really fuked up so do not put your cds on that fukin site .
Derek and CD Baby are rip offs. I played on a demo and didn't sign any Performance Release forms and CD Baby won't pull it. They want musicians to hire attorneys to sue them. The problem is that most local musicians don't have the money to hire attorneys to get court orders because it is expensive. I have had little to no problem having other sites pull content, but CD Baby won't do it. SCREW CD BABY!!!
I have had no problems with them at all.

Hey FMC,
Good content. What about improving the sound?
After all, don't you want the future sounds of music to be well-produced?
