Animation for my latest brief- 'Create a 20 second title sequence promoting a season of documenties and live performances of contempory music for E4'.
I hand drew 206 frames and scanned them back in to create the animation at 24 frames per second. Believe me this is a tedious process, but worth the results. The 'new music' type was stop frame. I made the 3D line coming to the screen by filming a balloon with the E4 logo on it and rotoscoping it. These elements were then put together with the animated line/wavelength on Adobe After Effects.
The track I used is: The Herbaliser, Intermission.
Oh yeah, I'm in the process of getting someone to write a lyric to put over the top. I'll update the vid when that's done.
Couldn't you draw directly on After Effects using the video on a separate track and tracing on a diferent layer?
