Because everyone loves when someone's hot sister comes to town (thus why you never see Kourtney "taking" a new city solo), check out Wazee Wood Fire Pizza, the sister spot of famed restaurateur/ hotelier Charlie Palmer's District Meats. A "casual New York-style pizzeria", it's blessing LoDo with a small, focused menu of pies, salads, and small plates in a space with a "general store feel", so go check them out before Walmart moves in and starts selling cheaper pies, salads, and small plates.
Three of their 'zas aim for classic Big Apple flavor, including a basic margarita, the Little Italy-named Mulberry Street with sopressata/ prosciutto/ pancetta/ parmesan, and one loaded with grilled chicken/ blue cheese/ hot sauce named The Western New Yorker, presumably after they ruled out The Super South Ontarian. More creative takes on Italy's most famous export run from The Defendorf with Brussels sprouts/ caramelized onion/ Gruyere/ ground veal, to the fancy-schmancy Aristocrat with duck confit/ arugula/ local goat cheese/ lemon zest, to The Norwegian piled high with smoked salmon/ crisp potato/ dill/ caraway/ cream cheese, so suck it, Traditional Pizza Bagel!
There're also some solid salads (like a cucumber/arugula Panzella) if you're looking to complement the pizza, which's not to be confused with Kourtney's habit before devouring her best friend: complimenting the pizza.
