Mew Mew Power (English) Episode 21: Part 1

This is the first part of Episode 21 of Tokyo Mew Mew in English. The English dub title of the show is Mew Mew Power.

Corina has a dream about a bird that tries to force her to fly which causes her to be scared. The next day, she and Zoey start getting into an arguement over work but Elliot interrupts them for something important. He and Wesley tell the Mew Mews about a special substance(the stuff that turned Bridget into a mermaid) called Blue Aqua. If they find it, it will activate a higher level of transformation, causing them to be more powerful.

The English dub changes the music score so the background music is completey different from the original Japanese music.

Names were also changed in the English version. The name changes are:

Terms were also changed as well and those are:

I don't get why people think this is so horrible, just because it's not exactly like the original. I mean, so what? I still think it's a good show, but I guess that's just me.

It's not that it's not exactly like the original, it's that it's WAY different than the original (huge cuts, name changes and changes to the actual plot, not to mention the first 12 episodes being out of order).

I personally learned to like this version but I must admit that I still don't think of it as Tokyo Mew Mew.

@MewMewInternational I wasn't meaning you (you obviously have some liking to it if you uploaded the videos), I meant the people who bitch about how horrible it is and how much they hate it. To me, it's like art. The original is the best, but each recreation is also unique in it's own way.

True and even those who hate this version do admit that they love the music from it XD. My personal favorite out of the MMP versions is the French dub.

Yep. You'd think with all the Mew puns 4Kids added to the English version that they would keep the original name, but nope. Basically, they changed the name and added jokes about how redundant the name change sounded XD.

Mark is waaayy too nice. He NEVER gets in fights. I wish there was a scene when zoe and him were in trouble with a gang and mark kicks butt! lol
