Road/Pedestrian Bridge in Steubenville, Ohio to Weirton, West Virginia that in the near future will be taken out of service because it is not structurally sound. Also in the distance is the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad bridge over the Ohio River between Mingo Jct. and Weirton. And just up the river (going north that is) is the old Panhandle Line bridge that NS/Ohio Central/W&LE use for only about a mile into Weirton.

  • that is the Market Street Bridge not the Fort Steuben Bridge

  • @jrcortz

you are correct. the one they just destroyed (moments ago, as i type this) the explosion shook my house here in Toronto, which is about a 15-20 min. drive to this bridge from my house) anyway, it is/was called the Fort Steuben Bridge. the one in your video is the market street bridge. all it got was some cosmetic work done. they should have fixed the whole "being able to see below you intot he water" thing, imo.. i always found that unnerving, it gives me the willies, TBH.

  • i think you want the one up by the marina they are gonna blow down in a few weeks. that up there is the fort steuben bridge, a classic 1920s wire cable suspension bridge

  • market street

  • Jus treferbished and repainted my friend..........WVU colors to boot!
