im a hip hop head n i also love heavy metal but i find myself leaving the channel on the sirius radio jazz station alot idk what it is that draws me to it i guess i just love the complexity of the bass and the smooth rhythyms

I think Paul Chambers was one of representative jazz bassists in late 50's.
