@takumisensei if you have it on ps3 change the sound setting to bitstream instead of linear pcm.

I have an external hard drive which connects to my tv with mkvs encoded with DTS, would I be able to plug my media box via HDMI into this and it play them with full 5.1?

@takumisensei change the settings on your bd player. I had the same issue till i started messing around with my ps3 bd player settings. oh and of course, make sure you're running only hdmi cables.

i just bought this. When i play BD movies that are DTS-HD. How come my receiver doesn't show that it is DTS-HD? Someone help!!!!
