Have to realize that its not all about specs and numbers. Its about how the software/operating system utilizes the hardware and uses it to it's advantage. For an example the Galaxy Nexus doesn't have an 8mp camera but a 5. Samsung had to sacrifice that in order to get zero shutter lag. And the pictures still look amazing and great. Just i get pissed when people look at numbers over everything. If it works well it works well. PC and Macs both have their specialties. Enough said.

@setnommee r u retarded? the optical drive in the mac is top of the shit with a built in burner. it does movies, it has iTunes or double twist ur choice for music, and how is it more money? its a one time purchase. and u can run windows on mac too.

man, if only you could understand that specs don't make a computer experience great, it's the integration between the operating software and the hardware that makes the experience worthwhile.

Mac specs combined with the UNIX based operating system does the trick. Although, now, hackintoshes are offering that kind of power, they are to be used at one's own risk, without any apple support.

Apple provides a premium experience and thus the premium price, which is pro'lly $200 more than competitors.
