This is a demo track by my other band Deadman's Blood. The video is made up of some clips from some of my favourite zombie flicks - Day Of The Dead, Dead Set, Zombie Flesh Eaters, Diary Of The Dead and Dawn Of The Dead. The first demo is available to buy and would be recommended for fans of Ancient Death Metal, especially early Autopsy and Nihilist.

  • Get yourself a drummer. Soon. This crappy drummachine that you use in both projects sounds like complete shit. A drummachine often have alot of low-ends in the bass which makes it sound very computerized. Try cutting some of that off and perhaps people can listen in actual stereos. And also, buy yourself a useful microphone and a rehersal place where you can scream, not whisper.

  • @Sturgeonist Firstly, If I wanted a drummer then I would have one wouldn't I? I work on my own. Nobody else has complained and I have had nothing but good words about both bands so yo are on your own on this one. Secondly, I make music for myself not for other people so if you don't like it, I don't care! Thirdly, I have a good microphone and studio so it shows you know nothing about it. I have never 'whispered' - my vocals are always at full volume. Finally, fuck off and troll someone else.

  • @Deejaymbass AND: Nobody else has complained 'cause you only send your material to friends.

Honesly, I don't mean to be disrespectful, but since you are a musician like myself you could adress my points a bit more seriously and perhaps learn a thing or two. If you want tips on music production - just PM me. I'm totally sincere.

    Best regards

    Björn

  • @Sturgeonist Apologies for sounding harsh in my comment, I do not mean to sound disrespectful either. The demo wasn't sent to friends, it was up for sale last year on the DMB website and was sold out in two weeks to people I do not know, barring about 4 or 5 who I do know. Constructive criticism is always welcomed but saying it sounds shit isn't. It may not sound perfect but it's meant to sound raw and a bit rough around the edges rather than polished which is not what I aim for. Cheers.

  • Holy fuck THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME

  • @girininhonck Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. The demo was sold out months ago but I am currently recording the second demo which will be out in the next couple of months. You can hear more at the officical Deadman's Blood website which You Tube won't let me post in this comment but it's worldwide web and then a dot, then Deadmansblood and then a dot, then co, then another dot and then uk. Cheers man!

  • @radioclash84 Haha - pig squealing is for talentless posers! I would never do that. I hate all that Deathcore bullshit - that type of music is FAKE and trendy and completely opposite to what I am into. Only TRUE Death Metal is real!!!

  • @Deejaymbass i will keep checking to order then. this is why i listen to hardly any modern metal its just too squeaky clean now i hate it. and u did a great job on the vocals man i like it, never never start experementing with pig squeals. :D this is the way it should be. take care :)

  • @Deejaymbass Here's the thing. If you wanted a drummer, it would suddenly demand a whole lot of things. It would demand a rehearsal space (which costs money) and it would demand a lot of time (for the drummer to learn the material). Trolling isn't the same thing as criticism. Wether you want criticism or not is whole different issue.

I know plenty about studio recording, and your production needs alot of work. Your guitars are lined and your drummachine sounds computerized and not very dynamic,

  • @blickluke Ah ok I know who you mean now, I have watched a couple of those episodes.

He is the vocalist in the virtual band 'Dethklok' in the program called Metalocalypse on the Adultswim channel

  • @blickluke My vocals are not really influenced by anyone in particular - I just do Death Metal vocals the way I like to hear them. Who is Nathan Explosion..?
