I really don't understand what Seth Godin is doing with his last two posts. He seems to be advocating click fraud. "If every time you read a blog post or bit of online content you enjoyed you clicked on an ad to say thanks, the economics of the web would change immediately. You don't have to buy anything (though it's fine if you do). You just have to honor the writer by giving them a click."
He should change that to say, you should buy something otherwise the high amount of clicks becomes suspicious to the advertisers and they may not advertise with that publisher again. I explain more in the video. Tell me what you think
So he said something he shouldn't have. That doesn't make him a filthy fraud.
I went to hear him lecture yesterday. I believe in his sincerity.
