  • Healthy? I thought fresh ingredients were healthy. All canned stuff cannot be healthy. Tastes good though. I used fresh tomatoes and no canned suff. It was better.

  • I love fresh stuff, but I feel this is a reasonable option that is easy to make and keeps me from eating canned soup with MSG and I control what goes in it, like ground poultry versus beef. Canned food has nutrients and fiber and protein. I am glad you made it and enjoyed it. i just wanted convenience food that worked for me, and hopefully other post-ops

  • question about this recipe... a little late i know but if those of us that cant have fluids while we eat do you think if after we cook it and allow the beans and meet to be in the juice if we then drain it before adding it into the bowls it would chenge the taste? looks amazing i use to love beans but got out of them so im trying this recipe sometime soon and leaving some at work so i have food there! got any more recipes please share i need some help with this

  • chili is food. the liquid in the chili is food. Just don't drink a glass of water WITH it. I don't add water to this at all, it is pure canned beans, spice and meat. Very good for you. The pouch LOVES it. Just stick to 4 oz liquid and all and you'll do great

  • Do you have a recipe for the chicken tortilla soup, if you do, would you post it or send it to me? Also, do you drain the canned beans before mixing them all together or do you leave all the liquid in the mixture? And if you drain them, how much water do you add to the chili? Thanks Amelia. Monica

  • I buy the chicken tortilla soup from the Publix grocery store deli, I wish I could make it myself. Whith the beans I never drain them. I don't add water to the chili. I do add water to the white bean chicken chili but only because the season packet calls for it.

  • @Prettyredjellybean Actually, with advances in farming and things like that..beans and tomatoes are just as healthy from the can as they are fresh. The same cannot be said for all vegetables (greenbeans and corn), for some of those add preservatives and salt. So yeah..things from a can can be healthy. You just need to take a little time to look between brands and read labels.

  • I have been watching your videos for a week now. I can't believe how much you've changed! You remind me of my daughter. Has anyone told you how much more expressive your face is? Anyway I will try this recipe out. Thank you so much for sharing. It has helped me more than I can tell you in this tiny space.

  • Hi,
