  • I'm getting really annoyed with all the idiots protesting against this. If everyone thought like you do, we would still be living in the stone ages.

And if you want to save money and make peace, why don't you go out and protest against the billions being wasted on futile efforts in Afghanistan, or go to Africa to help the poor or even just donate money instead of sitting on your asses and expecting others to do it?

  • The only possible ways that this could receive thumbs down is 1.)by error or 2.) stupidity... Beyond being an expert in physics this does an incredible job of explanation of highly technical data in an excellent manner devoted to comprehension; incredible

  • I want to make one of these!!

  • Put soda in it

  • I wonder if I would turn into a real life Dr. Manhattan if I became bombarded by those substances.

  • @JermeisterHD we are being hit by particles every second of everyday. But then again, a bullet is just a bunch of particles too. So it depends on the mass of the object and the veolocity. F=MA (force = mass * Acceleration)

  • Why not poke a hole in the valve and see what happens with the process. Maybe everything will explode and turn into a black hole.

  • This may seem like a childish question, but do you think you would die if you stood in the path of the rotating particles? :P

  • @saucersauce We can't let 'nogod' hold us back either. Agnosticism.

  • We're still letting "god" hold us back?? Really?? Really??

  • That looks awsome!! Huge credit to everyone who worked on this !!! This is an invention of a generation.

  • @rubikskidcube The electrons have less mass than the atom. Therefore when the speed is increased from the original speed to faster the inertia/momentum of the atom is greater and the electron less. The electron will have a difficulty keeping up so it will come off. Thats what I believe I am fourteen so if I am incorrect that is why.
