Gaming with friends can make some torturous gaming sessions all the more bearable. So I gather that if I get anything decent while playing with, I may as well put it up. And use it as an excuse to voice opinions about weapons and stuff...
The PP-2000 in this game for a first PDW is not bad at all... in terms of damage output its long-range performance is by far the weakest, but you really shouldn't be sniping cross-map with your UMP45 like I could in BFBC2. Close range it has a slightly greater RPM than the UMP, but the UMP has the edge in long-range performance.
Choosing between the two, the UMP has better long-range damage and a larger default magazine size, but the PP gets Extended Mags, giving it a healthy (but inaccurate to RL) 40 round capacity. These combine to make a very stable and reliable CQC weapon with very solid handling and sustained offensive ability.
