Urban Knitting by easyJet

Réalisation d'une œuvre d'Urban Knitting sous les yeux des voyageurs au cœur du hall de l'aéroport de Paris Orly. Sur une planche de bois (2,50x1,50m), symboliser à l'aide de clous (150) les principaux aéroports desservis par easyJet, et retracer à l'échelle les lignes aériennes par des ficelles orange (200m). L'œuvre terminée (6h), on peut voir se dessiner la carte de l'Europe sous un angle nouveau.

Perform an Urban Knitting artwork in the middle of the checking hall of Orly Airport, Paris. The idea was to represent easyJet's route map on a wooden board (2,50x1,50m) that had nails sticking out of it (150). Each nail corresponding to main European airports are linked with orange strings (200m) representing on scale every routes served by the airline. Once the work is completed (6h), it appears the map of Europe through the prism of easyJet.
