We get more, we get different stuff. Humans are fallen, we can't expect to get a perfect view on everything by ourselves because our imperfect minds let stuff slip through the cracks.
@CIR229 This word is translated also as "trespass", "offence", "sin", and "fall" elsewhere in the KJV. Colossians 2:13 "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses..." Here the word "sins" and also "trespasses" are the same word as "fault" in James 5:16.
I will definitely be praying for you, brother. Again, God bless you
@CIR229 Just so I can stay within the context, which Scripture (of which you are speaking of) is "fault" found? Because right now I'm in the 1 John 1:9 frame of mind.
@CIR229 Aren't faults sins? To "sin" is to miss the mark. It was a term used by archers when they didn't hit the bullseye but hit one of the outer rings or missed the target completely. So then a "fault" would, by definition, be a "missing of the mark".
There is nothing inherently holy about the KJV. It just uses an outdated English wordform and grammatical style.
I don't mean to nit-pick, but these are detrimental ways of thinking.
"Then one said to Him, 'Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.' But He answered and said to the one who told Him, 'Who is My mother and who are My brothers?' And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, 'Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.'
Jesus' called "family" all those who do the Father's will.
@IkarOphir - Calling your family your "church" instead of meeting corporately with a body of believers has no biblical basis. There's no example of it in scripture. Being part of a church body is part of loving and serving each other and Christ. If people are truly honest, the reason they don't want to be part of a church body stems from things like pride, laziness, not wanting to give, not liking people, etc. Most people try to justify, rationalize, or give excuses for not attending.

@IkarOphir - Consider Matthew 12:47-50.
