  • Let's steal Stone Henge rocks and put them inside the new acropolis museam...

The better way to learn history is to combine it with geografy...So the best way to learn about Acropolis is to bring marbles back home...

If we want we can make MIRACLES!!!!

  • LOL...there is NO comparison between stonehedge rocks and Parthenon Marbles and their significance in history and humanity...

  • @brindlog

oh really?because every british man that i have met is totally aware of the Acropolis Marbles, just like you seem to be.and they admit that it is wrong to keep them in the British museum because their Hellenic and belong to Greece and the Parthenon.

  • ja ja ja j I would love to know what does the British museum has to say now ja ja ja ja

  • If, as Mr Brindlog is stating below "they dont even make a small headline in the Uk, the average man in the street has not heard of them "then they should be returned, cause they will not be even missed! Right, Furthermore to the glowing comment. I hope you have" finally have seen the light " if not, I would suggest the black pool illuminations. It might be more up your cultural street.

    Best Regards

"LOADS OF CULTURE AND LOADS OF MONEY!

    The Illuminator

  • ! So, It comes down to money. No other reason! Just that! Do you think anyone would go to the British Museum if they would start giving back even one artefact? No.

    So, what´s the solution here?

  • That´s because to you the "normal Brits"!! The only real thing of interest lies in who is shagging whom in Eastenders! Sad but true! The average man in Brittain should learn also that there is more to food than "Fish and Chips" don´t you think so? Western Governments think by raiding countries and taking what does not belong to them in the first place and instilling their ideologies overseas, they might earn "brownie points" Well, thats absolutely absurd!

  • The sculptures of the parthenon inspired the Rennaissance years later. It is the first

masterpiece of Western Art. The one that inspired all the others. England wants to keep this symbol of western power. In time

I am sure they will return it. It seems obscene after the Greeks originated the idea of Democracy? Does anyone see irony here?

  • although the marbles might be big news in greece, but they dont even make a small headline in the uk,the average man in the street has not heard of them.however i believe a british scientist has invented a spray solution that will protect them and make them glow in the dark!!!!!
