Simon and Arjay are work students assigned in the Educational Media Center. The two work students were part of the EMC people who provided cooked rice for 120 residents of Weston Hall Dorm for girls. The flood was so sudden that buying food outside CPU was very risky. Arjay braved the waters to bring cooked rice to these female students. It was said that he went upstairs to serve the rice wearing only his brief, his body covered with silt.

thanks, CPUDerecho..just to bring humor to the situation, i know arjay has earned a lot of pogi-points to the girls in weston, and to the whole of cpu, for that matter. i used to live in weston, too--but that was in the 60s. what a horrible thought, stranded in the buildings with no food and water...thank God we have no casualties in CPU. keep up the great work, CPUDerecho.
